My Toshiba c660 not starting up???

Hi all,

I'm trying to start up my laptop. But there is no response from it.

Last night, when I was watching movie suddenly a blue screen appeared and then it got shut down after which It's not starting up.

I can hear my fan is working and whole system is off within 1 minute. I can't see even toshiba logo which usually pops up during start up. I thought there would be some problem with my battery then I removed and plugged with AC supply. But still its not working.

I see nothing on my screen. Can anyone tell me what is the problem and how to rectify it.

Hello,

Try this 1

1) Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for

60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and

later put the battery back into the laptop.

2) If the problem still exists then click on the below link and follow the instructions

Hi Jack,

None of the above mentioned methods are working. I tried both 1 & 2.

What would be the problem?.

Hello,
Have you tried connecting external monitor to it. Make sure you have used the right combination key to toggle between your laptop screen and the external monitor. I

Try this 1
Have you tried connecting the external monitor ? Make sure that you have used the correct combination keys to toggle between your laptop screen and the external monitor.
If you notice that your laptop is turned ON and the CPU Fan is spinning then check your RAM. Try another RAM and check if you are able to get the display. Even bad RAM will cause a display problem.

My system started on its own. But I don't know its because of your method or something else.
