Hello, I tried to put windows xp on my vista laptop but I think that
my BIOS is corrupt and if so what am i to do about it and does that
effect my hard drive?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

I can't play a video file. What's wrong? Show You probably need codecs. The one I use is called the K-Lite Codec Pack which includes a nice bunch of codecs. You might also want to try VLC Media Player which features a host of codecs built-in.

Flashing bison wouldn't harm your hard drive. don't worry ;). Find appropriate firmware for your machine before proceeding with bios flashing.
