No signal when connecting laptop to TV (HDMI)

Hello!

I have an Acer laptop and a Samsung led TV. I just bought the TV and I have been trying to get the laptop screen onto the TV. But, nothing has happened so far. It just says, 'no signal'.

If I [for example] choose 'extend these displays', I can move the mouse to the right but I can't see anything.

Please help me!

Neither worked.

On the screen the second display is named: 'VGA' if that helps.

Try updating your graphic drivers. If the problem still exists then
Let us know your TV complete model number. Have you tried connecting through VGA ?

That yellow mark is still there.

Try this 1
If there is a yellow mark then you need to install the Video drivers. Download the drivers from your manufacture's website. Right-click on the yellow mark and select uninstall. Then install the downloaded driver.

My graphic driver was already on the latest update, though I say it had a yellow triangle warning mark.

How do I connect trough VGA?

I think this is the model: UE40ES5505K or this: UE40ES5505KXXE

Try this 1
Make sure that yellow mark got removed.
Regarding the VGA Port, click on the below hyperlink "VGA" to see how it looks

If you are having Intel HD Graphics, then check the option in "Intel Graphics Properties".
Click on the below hyperlink "Display" for basic information.
Display
If the problem still exists then check your HDMI Cable.

Still just says 'no signal', 'check the cableconnections and the settings fo the source'.

Hello,
Try this 1
Connect your TV to your laptop and switch on your laptop. If you failed to get the display on the external monitor, then use the proper combination keys (like Fn+F5/ the function key that has the monitor symbol on it) to toggle between your laptop screen and the TV.
If the problem still exists then check your screen resolution. Make sure its not set too high.
