Write Protected error while Formatting [Solved/Closed]

Hello,
Respected Sir,
I m getting a write protected error while copying or formatting a kingston 1gb Micro-SD card. It is also showing error in my Black Berry 8300 curve.
So sir please respond me as soon as possible.

think this write protection error is due to some virus.
Steps to remove write protection for Transcend users
1) Go to download center of the transcend,here is the link
http://www.transcendusa.com/Support/DLCenter
Type the model no. or part of model number you are looking for.
example: JFV30(all alphabets in Caps )
2) Choose other details like product type etc. and search for your product
3)Then select the product which which is most similar to yours from search results
4)Then download the mFormat utility. You will asked for serial no. if you dont have..enter this no. 1456784523
5) Connect your pen drive
6) run the mformat utility and select full format after full format your write protection will be removed. try twice or thrice if you can't correct at first time.
Thats all...

It worked for me and my friends....

Other pen drive users may visit there vendors site and download any fromat utility present there for your model.

hey it worked but nt the direct way i ll coundnt formate it before but i downloaded n farmatting software but it showed error called "write protected"

later i used these online trick it failed but after that i used my previous software of formatting and it worked


when i used online recovery tool it removed all the restrictions so it was easy for my software to do its JOB

after all IT WORKED felt awesome////////////////////////

hi dear,
I have a 16Gb transced pan drive,I can not format it .
when i try to format " write protect error" appers.When i found site and i tryed your guide line.My pan drive is again working well.So thanks alot !

Try 2-3 times and then dis connect your pen drive and then format from my computer.
