Hello, i have a toshiba satellite p200 laptop computer that won't turn on, the problem started when my friend used a different power line, now the blue power line light blinks and the battery light turns orange once but the computer won't start, anyone knows what the problem might be?

thanx in advance!

Configuration: Windows vista
Firefox 3.0.6

Your "friend" might have fried the laptop if the "power cord" was not the correct voltage or the power socket may have been damaged. It's best if you take it to a repair shop.

Remove your battery and just use your power adapter. Your battery could be no good and causing the computer to not start. I've had two batteries go bad in the last 5 years. When they go bad the machine will not start, plugged in or not.

I am going through the same drama...
which makes me think that computers may not be so resourceful after all!
In addition I am currently in College Online and my classes has already started and I am still with out a response from my Gateway Computer using Vista.

I got the same problem try holding the power button for about six (6) secounds to power on and go from their it worked for me and if it dont work well idk then it alot easier to buy another one than to spend alot of money on reapair unless u know you are not spending alot of money.
