My dvd burner isn't working

Hello,

I have a gateway laptop and my dvd burner isn't working. It burns CD's fine, but when I try to burn a DVD it will get to about 99% done, and then it will pop out and say "could not burn dvd". why is it doing this?

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,
it seems that your DVD drive is faulty,
if yourlaptop is still on warranty, contact your service provider.
else get it replaced.
