I recently bought a Galaxy Note 10.1, and thought I'd load a video, so I bought a ripper and ripped a DVD of Avatar. When I copy it to my Galaxy Note, it tells me it cant play this video. Is this a copyright constraint as all the internet info tells me that the Galaxy Note can play .mp4 format.

Thanks

Gareth

As far as I know, Galaxy Note 10.1 as well as the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition can support MP4 video perfectly. If you can't play your ripped DVD files on Galaxy Note 10.1, pleas check the video, audio settings during the ripping process. In usual, you'd better keep the original video size 720*480 and 1000~1500 video bitrate.

Here is a tutorial I found out: http://ww1.tablet-video-tips.com
