I need to unlock my touch screen pad in my hp laptop. pls help

Hi !

I am using a HP laptop of HP pavilion g4 series. my daughter has done something. where scrolling is reading. but the selection and other function keys are not working. in the laptop. can some one please suggest me how to make the scroll pad work again.

the on/off button shows that touch pad is working fine

please help me out
