No start no desktop icons

Hello,
hii i have a very severe problem,no start icon is appearing no desktop icons ,n even by right clicking nothing is appearing,can u plzz plzzz help me plzz mail me on my id,nothing is appearing can u help as fast as u can

Configuration: Windows XP
