Toshiba Satellite P875-S7200 won't boot after bios update

Hello,
My laptop said I needed to update the bios so I downloaded and installed using the wizard that came up. The system shut down and now will not boot. The power light just keeps flashing on and off and it sounds like it is trying to start to run but when the power light flashes off it stops running. (it flashes on for about 1 1/2 seconds and off for 5 seconds).

I unplugged and took battery out. Waited a little while and than plugged back in, leaving the battery out. Still same issue. Power button flashes on and I hear the computer begin to run but 1 1/2 seconds later, it goes off. Stays off 5 seconds and repeats. It won't boot. Any ideas to fix this? Please help.
