Very slow opening the web pages

Hello,
i connect to internet in 52-54 bps but the speed of download and opening of the web pages too low what should do to increase the speed ?

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

Go to my computer. click on tools tab. go to view. uncheck the top box,automatically search the net.
and voilas, fixed
