Dear Forum,
Full title--Ajax: communication between JavaScript and Perl scripting--this would be a wonderful resource if the example code actually worked. I found several typos & fixed those, but still does not debug.

Thanks, anyway for the effort so far--I happen to be in the middle of developing a site and would be grateful for any clues about having javascript work with CGI. In the task of making data pass from one web page to another I think Ajax is going to be at least part of the solution.

Are you looking to use with in some CGI page, using ajax ?

In this example they are using AJAX to get a file name "ajax_info.txt"
