Cannot connect my phone to my pc

Hello,
i normally connect my phone to my pc via my usb cable and recently i got a problem.... it(nokia pc suite) doesn't really detect my phone! it's very irritating as i cannot transfer my music and photos etc.. i tried many things, follow many advices but it doesn't works.... please, can someone help me in solving this problem..?! thanks very much
my phone is an n70.. oh, by the way, my brother has a nokia 3250 and he has no problem in connecting his phone! :( while using the nokia phone browser in "my compuer' for mine , it says: the operati0n could not be completed

Only one think that i know and maybe u can try this..if u see a usb logo in ur nokia N70 up right screen when u had disconnect ur usb cable..then u connect it again..it mean..ur data can not be load...because an error when plug out usb cable or a cable not good anymore. U can try just one thing..."restart ur phone"..connect the usb cable again and choose default to all things explorer inside ur phone (nokia phone browser)

Changing my cable from a DKU-5 to a CA-42 fixed it .
