Dowloading speed very slow from wi-fi router

Hello,
I have a laptop with a wifi router and I am trying to download to a ps3 but the speed is very slow ,my computer speed is 2mb which is supposed to be fast .Dowloading games to ps3 takes hours,can you advice me ;thank you.

Configuration: Windows XP
