Sweex Lan Dongle & XP

Hi all new here after ripping all my hair out lol.
I bought the wife a new Sweex Dongle to connect to our wireless router and halfway through installing the drivers up pops the Digital Signing box , so i click continue and as it gets to the something,something system32 folder/file (the images shows the files being transfered from 1 folder to another) the PC turns off as ifits suffered a power cut , this happens wether i have the dongle plugged in during installation or unplugged.
As a note if i do it with the dongle plugged in when it shuts off the monitors has a black screen like a power out and the minute i unplug the Dongle it starts to reboot , so its not a power issue, this is on a brand new hard driver and ASRock mother board etc etc..
If i just run the PC without installing the Dongle it sits and works happly all day and does not encounter ANY problems its only when i try the WiFi Dongle it occurs, i ve also tried an older Dongle i have from a different maker Belkin and the same occurs at the same point...help please
