An annoying extra window that 'pops up' when you're browsing the web, to advertise something or to try and trick you into visiting another website. Be very wary of links in popup windows, some are malicious. There are also popup banners that flash an advertising message, and pop-under windows. Some are controlled by the cookies that are set, so I set my browser (Firefox) preferences not to accept any cookies without first asking me. If I see the word 'ad' or 'banner' or 'popup' or 'popunder' in the cookie definition/domain, I Deny it.

i am vijay from india i am using symentec 11 in my system the symentec is down my system and always get the pop up
any type of solution stop the pop up
