Hello, I have just got my mum set up on her new laptop with Vista. I tried to download Google earth, and right at the end a window popped up that said something like 'this internet page is not available' etc, which is the usual page that you get if an internet website is not there anymore - except that this one was a bit unusual, as it also said something about 'google end user agreement'. There is no X in the border to close this window down - nothing round the edge but blue, and I cannot cannot cannot get rid of it. My mum now can't use her computer until I can find a way of getting rid of this popped up window. I have never seen one like it where there is no facility round the edge to close it down - can anyone help at all please please! My mum is 75, and I was so proud of her going on-line for the first time today - and now this has happened!!! Please help. Thanks! Gibbs
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0
Hey, I have exactly the same problem. I can't get rid of this window. The top line says something about a license agreement but the rest of the page says: This page is not available. I don't know if your Vista is different from mine (german). Anyway, you can find unter the system programs: system recovery (don't really know how a englisch computer names these things). You have to recover it to a date before you installed Google Earth. Still I haven't found any solution to this problem... still looking for one.
