Hi
same problem with me......windows can detect my kingston 32GB usb drive but when i try to open it "please insert a disk in drive x" message appears.......i tried everything with this pen drive......i have used SPFDISK utility for partitioning , NDD, ranish partition magic....etc on it.....they all do function well and gave no errors but when I reboot my system or access with those utilities again .... it shows the drive in old state.....There is no read/write lock in my drive....I checked it is in ready state and writable......When i tried to partition it in windows XP....no format window appears.........but when I used it in Vista.....Format window appears.......but It gives message that "unable to format...and error about unknown disk capacity".........So i reached to the conclusion that the usb disk is fake....or faulty.......or windows has no suitable driver for 32GB usb disk drive.........If any one has a solution plz help.
