Mac first, second and third. [However, the guys at Animusic did extraordinary things with Win computers.] The commercial music recording and production industry has for years used Apple computers in preference to Win, but that's more to do with the Mac operating system and music software. It's better that you compare the OS rather than the brand name on the computer. And make sure you buy/acquire really good music software.
