Hai

If you intend plugging the RJ45 Ethernet output in the wall to the RJ11 jack on the modem, forget it, it wont work.

The only thing you can plug into the Ethernet socket is either a switch or an Network Interface card. The RJ11 plug is designed to be plugged into a telephone socket. A telephone connection knows nothing about Ethernet.
