Please help me. What is this means"system failure: Operation halted".

Hello

It is pretty simple really.

Something happened and the system failed to respond and because there was no responce the operation that was being done was aborted.

When this happens it couls be just about anything that caused it ...such as an electrical (power) spike or just a glitch or there is a bad sector on the harddrive..a registry pathe got broken...

To look for the cause...
start > control panel > admin tools > event viewer and select all three options one at a time and look for any errors and note the time to see if it is about the same and highlight the errror and it will give a more detailed explaination or point to what part went bad
