Windows 7 is not working having black screen

Hello,

I am using lenevo laptop having both XP and wisdows7 operating system..my XP is working but my windows7 is not working... The whole screen is Black. No icons ,no menu bar , no task bar nothing. please please help me. I dont knw wat to do ....... I am very worried. please help me...........as soon as possible.......

Hello Anintida

Computers usually must have only one operating system. Did Win7 ever worked on your laptop, in other words did you ever have both XP and Win 7 work at the same time? How many hard drives to you have?

i worked before both with xp and win7..but hvnt worked at a same time. I have 4 hard drives

In the drive with Win7 can you open your taskmanager? (alt+ctrl+del)

If you can, new task and type explorer.exe

First of all thank you very much for helping me.......

yes I can see the taskmanager(alt+ctrl+del)

and I have type explorer.exe
nothing was there in new task window..........

And what i need to do now ?

I'm not sure that I was explicit enough.

You must click on new task

type explorer.exe in the new task window

Click ok

You should now see your desktop

If the above does not revive your Win7 I'm afraid that you must repair it by inserting your Win disk, boot and choose repair. Data will be lost.

hey it may be using a corrupt OS that you have mention that you have worked with XP but problem acrd when you use window 7 so it may be cozing of corrupt OS try to reinstall window 7 again and check......

hey guys i have also this problem my laptop have one windows .(7) i have also a black screen after entering the password and after that on that black screen automatically MY COMPUTER open .......
