Offhand I would say your video card is failing. Does this computer have a discrete video card that can be removed or is it using an onboard video chip?

I have no problem in safe mode. I can go online in safe mode. Do I need to replace my video card? I have installed the newest video card driver. It doesnot help the problem. Thank you for your reply.

That may be because the display is set to 640x480 and 60 Hrz by default in safe mode. It might be that you have set the video card to a frequency outside the range of the monitor. You can change it in safe mode and then restart.
