I have an external Toshiba 250 GB hard drive - model - HDDR250E03X. No disc came with the original purchase. I ahve been using this between my Laptop (vista) and my desktop (XP pro) for media transfers. Recently, THe XP will not recognize the hard drive at all and sometimes the vista machine will not acknolwedge. I ahve been unsucessful to find a good drive for this model or a fix. I do not have any problems with the other externals I have.
