Screen goes black after every few seconds [Solved]

Hello,
in my laptop,my screen goes black after every few seconds..it resumes after a mouse-click or after a key-press..am using windows7 os and a lenovo laptop..please give me a solution for my problem

Hello,

Try this 1

Click on Start --> In search bar, type power options and press Enter.

"Select a power plan" window will be opened. Clik on "Change plan settings" next

to "Balanced (recommended)".

In "Turn off the display", select "Never" from the drop-down menu under both the

options "On battery" and "Plugged in". Now click on "Save changes" button.

Thanks, that worked for me to but i had to re start mine first, also i uninstalled a programme that i had installed around the same time the problem started, so not sure what worked but my computer also seems to be running better now. :)
