No signal to monitor [Solved]

Hello, my problem is that streaming from a website last night (do it all the time) computer shut down showing no signal on the monitor. Tried the pull the power hold the power button trick no worky. Everything seems to be working just no signal to monitor. No clicking humming or any other noises. Help!!

Actually what fixed it was lifting it about 4 inches off of the desk and dropping it. Evidently a loose something. Don't recommend this to any one else, but it worked. Already had tried the unplug the power cord and push and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
