Computer freezes

Hello,
I have some problem about my PC, i will be very glad if you guys can help me!
I have recently downloaded an online game installer and it is in the Downloads folder, when i open the downloads folder it opens but when i click/double click the installer the folder will not respond it says *NOT RESPONDING* after that i do the ctrl+alt+del just to close the folder... after clicking the end now in task manager the taskbar turns to blank... again to see the taskbar.
i need help guys
OS: Windows XP 32-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00 GHz
Memory: 1536 MB RAM

I think you have a virus!
You should be more carefull with what you download, in particlular as you use windows. Sometimes a virus, so it can self replicate, attaches itself to another file, this file gets copied to other computers, this is how they spread.

Hello,

I suggest that you delete the game as it seems to be corrupted.
