Two options... First is free and easy to do, but you'll lose all the data currently on the drive. Use Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities) to reformat the drive. If you are only going to use the drive with Macs, reformat as HFS+ (Journaled). If you need to use the drive with PCs, format it as FAT32. Second option, buy a utility program like Paragon's NTFS for Mac OS X that lets OS X read/write to NTFS file systems. |
