Hello all,
To start off please bare with me I am not that good with the tech stuff dealing with computers. Okay my prb.. my bf has a toshiba laptop. On monday we got new internet through a company here in Oklahoma which made him upgrade to the windows server pack 3. Now lastnight he did a virus scan and I guess he had a virus and he got rid of it. Now he has no wireless what so ever and when we put the ethernet in it still wont work. My desk top is working besides my computer sends out emails before I finish them but that doesnt happen all the time. We have restarted the computer and the router (which is a belkin if that helps).

Also when you run the diagnostics on the internet explorer it says this : Windows cannot connect to the internet using HTTP, HTTPS, or FTP. This is probably cuased by firewall settings on this computer.

Check the firewall settings for the HTTP port (80), HTTPS port (443) and FTP port (21).

Like I said before I have no idea what to do. We shut down the firewall all together and it still wont work. I read on here about installing the TweakUI which I did... didnt work. I would like to try and get this fixed before he gets home from work. So any help would be grrrrrreat.
