Restart or hang problem in xp install process

Hello,
i m varun n my problem is when i install any window xp or 98 it go in proess on thats time pc restart or hang in the process then i restart my system and try again the resullt was same well my system configuation is intel p4 processer 2.0ghz intel pi45g motherboard may b not sure 512 mb ddr ram 80gb sumsung harddisk n 64mb videocard in build plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz any buddy help n i check my ram it aslo f9 !!

This sounds like a hardware problem that is preventing Windows from installing. Either hard disk or memory.
