I have uninstall my cd/dvd driver

Hello,
I think that I have uninstall my cd/dvd driver. I can not play cd's or dvd's now. When I put in the dvd, it just pops back open and says for me to insert a disk... Please help.. My computer is a hp pavilion a6110n

Sounds more like a broken DVD drive than a driver issue.
