I am running two 8800 GT in SLI. What ATI pci graphics card do I need to run second mon? Is anyone doing this currently and if so what ati card did you use and how smooth was getting everything all working?

I didn't get your question, what are you really trying to do? if you have 2 8800GT i see no use for an ATI graphic card :S

Well that is totally possiable cause I am doign that, I have a MObo with 3 16 lane and (3) 6800 GTX it uses 2 for me main 30: monitor in sli mods, and the other two side ones (20") I have are runnign off the 3rd card. I dont think you would have a trouble with running 2 of the same cards and one diffferent in XP. But if you are runnign Vista then your gonan have troubles, Vista does not like it when you have 2 diff kinds of video cards installed, the (2) sets of drivers will confuse it alot. I can run both vista and Xp with the sli and the two sides cause they are all exactly the same card. |
