Cant hear sound

Hello everybody,
I cant hear any audio from my VLC and power DVD and even in games..
But i can hear from winamp? How can i resolve it.. plz help me!!!!!

Opera 9.24

Try to check your control volume at the lower side to the right of your desktop and go to the control and try to increase the volume of the WAVE

Ya.. i ve checked.. i even cant hear any system sounds.. but i can hear songs from winamp..
