Hello, currently i have my main pc connect to the usb on the adsl modem. the ethernet connection is then going to a Belkin router to which i have another two computers connected. the two computers on the router can see each other and share files and also access the internet through the ADSL modem however, my problem is that the computers on the router cant see or share files with the pc connected to the ADSL modem via USB. we also cant connect the main pc also to the router due to ethernet configuration problems.

Any suggestions are much appreciated

regards,

dohmer

My suggestion, You should try to connect the phone line to dsl modem and connect the dsl modem via ethernet cable to the router
after you connect those,
your router should have 4 or more ethernet plugs to connect computers in the back of the router
after you connect your computer to the router,
turn on the dsl modem first
make sure you wait until all the lights is green and on
then
turn on the router
make sure you wait until the lights on the routers in green and on
then
turn on the computer and log on
when the computer is on you should see green light on the router that indicate the connection
then
open internet explorer
and try to types web address like example: www.yahoo.com
and everything should be working
good luck
