To repair corrupted JPEG/JPG files, you can try Kernel Photo Repair software. It also supports PNG, JPG, GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, GIFF, PCX, MPG, MPEG.

Not Free. Have to purchase $49 in order to save images. Waste of time.

Was looking for a program to "repair" damaged files which this program does not. However, this app recovered 2500 more photos than the other data-recovery programs I tried. I am freaking surprised. As there were many duplicates I don't need to bother about repairing the damaged ones (which were still damaged). So, my rating never the less is 5 STAR!

Does not let you select files, only drive partitions

This Program is not free. It will scan your hard drive, but to save anything you have to purchase

non-intuitive interface and very, very limited search. does a mass recover rather than a recover by specific folder and does not do any repair. two thumbs down.

Misleading. DOES NOT REPAIR. Only recovers.
