Hi,
in fact, when you install something and uninstall it, it does not completely uninstall.
you can use the "Total Uninstall Software" to remove the softwares.
try this klink to download the software:

I feel for you on this one! I also HATE the new MSN Messenger 2009 for it's "network". There is only one FACEBOOK. If people want to Facebook, let them but don't try to make create the same function MSN because you're really falling flat.

In any case, GOOD LUCK!!! And for those judgmental readers, please be a little more patient with people coming on forums looking for assistance. I, too, had no idea that the new MSN would be so annoying, otherwise, I wouldn't have upgraded to it. Now, I feel very much stuck with what I have. I wish there were a way to go backwards without causing major upset to my system.

All this nonsense about "ABC has joined XYZ's network". Ah, hello???? What do I care? That's non of my business and quite frankly, maybe ABC would like to keep that private. Then I had an e-mail reminder of someone's birthday the other day. I had totally forgotten that I even had that person in my contacts! I was so unnerved! Yes, some people might like these reminders but I haven't quite figured out how to turn off these functions if it's even possible.

Microsoft is sooooo good at turning off the people they serve!

The minute I come into some money, it's to MAC I go!

You should try to use Perfect Uninstaller when you want to remove program that has gone bad under uninstall !
Visit my website and use that key to register that program !!

All people that have some problem with older version to remove Windows Live Messenger 2008 or older..

Can use program like Perfect Uninstaller, it delete's all files that came with Messenger.

If someone also have problem to login at latest version of Messenger (2009), you most check all folder that have your email-adress on computer.. That reason why some people can't login to messenger !

Always use search-engine to find your answear.

Look, unless you write down exact instructions on how to uninstall it and tell us exactly thw right information then honestl;y down bother because im searching practically everything in the internet to try and uninstall it but no it doesnt say!

my msn everytime i sign in after about 10 seconds it just completely closes down and everytim,e i try to open it, it keeps doing it again.. but only on the newest version.

Hi.
Yo should try looking in the CONTROL PANEL the following: WINDOWS LIVE ESSENTIALS. When you click on it a pair of things may appear (messenger ETC.) Click on the ones you want to erase. But I had a problem that was similar. I downloded the new messenger and i dindnt like it. When i deleted it from the CONTTROL PANEL I decided to download an older version which I liked more. Every time I tried to sign in it told me I had to download the NEW MESSENGER VERSION, I didnt like it, but the main reason I deleted it was because it was in spanish and i didnt find the way to put it in english (and i am from DOMINICAN REPUBLIC but i like things better in english.) I downloaded it again (from the beggining in english) and it stayed that way and well... I use it. Although before I downloaded it again I used a WEB MESSENGER SITE and also I used the EXTREMELY OLD messenger that comes with most of the computers (by the way I like it more than the new one.) I hope some of this information helped you in one way or another.
