Iexplore.exe.Application Error new memory

Hello, I am just installed new RAM and I am receiving this error message
iexplore.exe.Application Error

The instruction at "0x7122e99" referenced memory at "0x01e7688". The memory cound not be "read".
Are the two related? Thank you

Configuration: Windows 2000
Internet Explorer 6.0

I would think so. Remove the memory and test the PC.
