Hello,

Just a quick question: To load the Fail-Safe option in the BIOS the same as reseting the jumper on the motherboard t clear the BIOS?

Hello

Reseting the BIOS or 'Clear Cmos' clears all user input like passwords and date time...clock (over/under clocking) settings and the like.

To load fail-safe options is to leave password and time and date settings alone but will change clock settings and proceedures to the standard safe settings for allowing windows to boot properly.
