Hello,

PLease help me someone, i'm computer illiterate and i really need help.

My acer aspire one netbook will not boot in normal mode. It only boots in safe mode.

When i power on my netbook it does it's normal thing until one of two things happens it either hits the windows 7 green screen and never prompts me for my security code and just freezes or it never makes it to the windows 7 screen and it is just a black screen with a blue circle cursor that never stops spinning in a circle or doing anything.

I've tried recovery system to a prior day. I was using Chrome but i removed it to see if it was the problem. So i guess i'm currently using ie

please i just want to use it again. thank you

Step 1

Boot into safemode

go to run and type

msconfig and press ok.Select the normal startup option and reboot

Do you face any issues now if yes move to second step

Step 2:

Which antivirus do you use?

Normally norton and AVG antiviruses block booting into normal mode

I would recommend to uninstall any antiviruses and try to boot into normal mode

Step 3:

Open msconfig

Select selective startup

Uncheck ''load startup items

Go to boot.ini tab and uncheck SAFEBOOT

Go to services tab and put a checkmark on ''HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES'' and click on disable all

Press ok and reboot

Let us know if you can boot into normal mode
