Greetings,
I assume it was your crashed disk drive which was the first at the boot priority. Now you have a new one and want to restore your previous system image to the new hard drive, you must change the boot sequence in the BIOS to your CD/DVD drive and boot with your recovery CD. Refer to the following FAQ to modify the boot sequence:
