I would like to use my Samsung Omnia I900 as a 'server', where I can surfe the internet using my PC.
How do I set this up???
What options do I have?? Is it best to go wireless (wifi)?? or via USB cable connection??
What do I need to do??
Please help.
All reply and suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Thank you you all in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0
You can't use it as a server, if it has the capability to be connected to you computer via a USB cable it might be able to use it as a modem. I have a razr V9 and can connect it to my computer via USB but I also hace Motorola Phone Tools software that allows me to use it as a Fax/Data modem. You will need the USB cable and possibly software supplied by samsung, or a driver for your computer to be able to use the Cellphone interface as a modem. Some of the newer cellphones drivers are not plug and play in any OS so you will need the individule driver. I checked the Samsung website and there is a Data Link kit available with software you might want to start there.
