What program do I need to open a RAW file?

Hello,
I am trying to open a file format which is RAW. I have no idea how to open it. I am useing Photoshop and the file came off of my Nikon D80 camera, but now i can't open. Any ideas? Please help. Thank you.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

I'v heard that ext. in my PC, but now i already format it.
It seems like nero ext or powerdvd program...who knows?

I think you must try to open in Adobe CS3, or CS4 version. Before it download adobe raw file & install then open in raw file Adobe CS.
