Not connecting to any symantec sites or serve

Hello,
i have installed norton internet security 2009 the latest version
i have still 14 days of free trial left
but da virus definitions wont get updated at all
i tried everything but none sites relating 2 symantec will open in any browses opera 9.63 or firefox 3
any suggestions guys..........???????????

This sounds like you have a Virus that has blacklisted all anti-virus internet sites and updates.

Google "SuperAntiSpyware" and get their FREE program if you can. Another option is to download the updates on another computer and burn them to a CD. Then boot into "safe mode" (use F8 key during the early Windows boot process) and update Norton from the CD. Good Luck

Thanx but only sites relating to symantec are not opening whereas all other antivirus sites like kaspersky avira etc are working fine
anyways i wil try ur method
