Fritz 11 Chess DVD compatibility problem

Hello,
I have recently bought a new HP Pavilion v2500, 4G, 64 bit OS notebook. I need to run a game program called Fritz 11 chess game as a requirement for my chess team. However the game DVD does not autorun nor recognized by the computer. the chess DVD works on an older Dell PC just fine and my new computer opens other DVDs without problem. HP tech support people could not offer any help and suggest it is a compatibility issue with 64 bit os. Any ideas if this is true and how it can be fixed?
Thank you.Configuration: Vista home premium 64 bit OS, 4 GB RAM explorer

hi,
it may be that the game does not support the 64 it version.
use it on other computers.

Curious if you ever got this issue resolved. I also have a Vista 64 bit OS and am thinking of geting Fritz 11 after suffering compatibility problems with both Chessmaster 10th Edition and Chessmaster Grandmaster.

Also, has anyone tried Deep Fritz 11 on a Vista 64 system?

Windows 7 64 running on a iMac through Sun Virtual Box. Fritz 11 will not install. I checked the
Windows 7 Compatibility site and Fritz 10 is 64 bit compatible. Fritz 11 and 12 have not been posted yet. Since we cannot install it, I would take that as a negative.
