Hello all,

i have a hp nc8230 laptop. I have recently upgraded the bios version from f.0f to f.17. Since then my laptop wont bootup.

It stops at the blue screen with the message

pci.sys - address f7f350bf bas at f752e000, datestamp 3b7d855c

I have tried clearing the cmos but didnt help.

Is there anyway i can go back to the previous version of the bios that i had.

Please help

Thanks

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

You should have backed-up the previous version when you did the update. Check for it on the floppy or flash drive that you used for the BIOS update.
