Hello,

i have the same problem, i turn on my computer and it say windows couldnt start because the following files are missing or corrupt then it says. widows/system32/config/system and you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original setup CD- ROM select r at the first screen to start repair. but the thing is i dont have that disk because computer was given to me when my grandad died. please can you help me

Hi,

try to remove all your cables except for the power, monitor, keyboard and mouse.

remove also your network cable, if you have one.

then boot again and go to the BIOS to set all USB devices to not boot.
