Wd default password

Hello,
Guys, my WD My Passport Essential has locked itself by creating a password on its own!!! No hints are available, which is another evidence that the password was not created by me. I cant erase the information by formatting the disk. I failed to receive any helpful info from the WD officials! I hope you will help!!!

This is a link to the HP formatting tool - it might format your drive. Most likely your drive is DEAD.
