GTA 4 lag on high resolution

hello friends I have purchased gta 4 recently .i have
processer- intel dual core@2.50 ghz
ram- 2gb
graphic card- nvidia g force 8400 @1gb
os - windos 7

when I play gta 4 on high graphics it start laging so I have to keep the graphics on low resolution but I sont want that please give me sugation

Hi,

Try this:

Go to The nVidia Control Panel and go to Manage 3d settings
Then turn Anisotrophic Filtering OFF
and set Antialiasing Transparency to Multi Sampling
Antialiasing Setting to 2x
Texture Filtering Quality to High Performance
Texture Filtering -Trilinear Optimisation to ON
Texture Filtering -Negative LOD bias to ALLOW
Threaded Optimisation ON
Vertical Sync and Triple Buffering ON

Change these Settings . The Performance Will definitely Improve.
