Monitor Gets No Signal / Computer Won't Boot

So I had this computer for almost 6 months. I opened up the case and rearranged my rams and then when i went to turn my computer on there was no signal to my monitor and my dvd/cd drives keep trying to read a cd in there but theres nothing inside. Whats going on!?

you have probably not inserted the RAM correctly or static electricity has zapped the motherboard. You should always ground yourself when replacing the RAM. The safest way is to buy a ground strap that you put on your arm and then attach a wire to the case.
