Ready Boost

Hello,


I have a question about Ready Boost. Since it is slower than RAM but faster than page file does this mean that when RAM runs out it automatically uses ReadyBoost then when ready boost runs out thats when it uses page file? By the way, is there a limit for ReadyBoost? I have a Kingston 4GB Flash drive and I used all 4GB of it for ReadyBoost. Is there a limit on the size you can use?

Readyboost is not a substitute for RAM and only serves as a cache. The addditional value to your system is questionable. Also you can only allocate the size of your flash drive.

I have a 4giga kingston flash drive which has a ready booster before but i cannot open up the contents of the flash anymore and once i connect it to the system it open up empty but the memory is full hows that possible it really keeps me puzzled?
